Provincial Outreach
A number of the faculty travel to smaller communities throughout British Columbia to provide care that allows patients to remain closer to home. Several clinics service the indigenous population in remote areas. Outreach clinics take place in Prince George, Sechelt, Bella Bella, Fort St John, Heiltsuk (Bella Bella), Gitga’at (Hartley Bay), Gitxaala (Kitkatla), Lax-Kw’alaams (Port Simpson), and Haida Gwaii
International Outreach
International opportunities include travelling with staff to their partnerships in Uganda and Southeast Asia. These outreach programs are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
